Men’s 2019 Midwest Pro Soccer Combine Set for December 19-20
The Men’s Midwest Pro Soccer Combine will be back for its fourth edition on December 19-20, 2019 at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan. The event has quickly become a staple in the team building cycle for professional clubs both domestically and abroad.
Based on the combine’s success, the fourth annual event is expected to draw even more interest from aspiring professional prospects, as professional clubs from Major League Soccer, USL Championship, USL League One, NISA and international clubs have already committed to attend.
“The Midwest Pro Combine has turned into an annual fixture in the team building cycle for clubs here in North America. In our short existence we’ve had 27 professional clubs attend and have helped over 70 players take the next step in their career. We are looking forward to cultivating another great environment for players and professional clubs this December,” said combine founder and director, Eric Rudland.
Players can apply online and submit all of their personal football data which will be examined by the combine’s player acceptance committee. There are a number of variables taken into consideration when looking at a player's application, such as: positional play, dominant foot, age, foreign vs domestic status and playing history. The Midwest Pro Soccer Combine player applications are now live and will remain open until Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019.
