2017 Midwest Pro Combine Set for Dec 18-19
The Midwest Pro Combine will be back for it’s second edition in 2017. The class of 2016 already boasts 13 players who have signed with professional clubs in North America, 4 of which were selected in the MLS Draft. Based on the combine’s first year success, the second annual event is expected to draw even more interest from top professional prospects, as professional clubs from MLS, NASL & USL look to form their 2018 rosters.
Players can apply online, and submit their football CV, references and recent video footage, which will be examined by the combine’s player entry committee. There are a number of variables taken into consideration when looking at a player's application, such as: position, dominant foot, age, foreign vs domestic status and playing history. 2017 player applications are now live and will remain open until the event’s roster is full (most likely early December 2017).
