Sporting Kansas City’s Pasher to Speak at Midwest Pro Soccer Combine
Most footballers are familiar with the journey one must take to achieve playing at the highest level. Each story is different, but filled with similarities of trials and tribulations that had to be overcome to reach the final destination. The story of Tyler Pasher, is nothing short of astounding.
In just two short years, Pasher went from 4th tier NPSL side Lansing United to earning a spot on Major League Soccer’s Sporting Kansas City. After helping LanU secure the Great Lakes West conference title in 2014, Pasher was invited to the NPSL combine.
Shortly after, a trial with third tier USL club Pittsburgh Riverhounds proved fruitful as Pasher spent much of the 2015 campaign with them. After a short stint with the Swope Park Rangers of the USL in 2016, Sporting Kansas City announced that they had signed Pasher on a short-term loan, to play in the 2016-17 CONCACAF Champions League against Central FC.
Pasher, who suited up for the Swope Park Rangers in their USL Cup appearance, will be attending the inaugural Midwest Pro Combine as a guest speaker sharing stories and insight on how we was able to stay focused on his goal of playing at the highest level even with all of the distractions and challenges that presented themselves along the way.
