Lopez, a tricky winger, can play as a 7 or 11. His dynamic dribbling ability and use of improvisation, makes him a constant threat in the team attack. Along with his proficiency on the ball he is very good at finishing in and around the 18 yard box. The first 3 years of his college career were spent at Western Illinois University, with his college carer being capped of at Western Michigan University this past fall. While at WMU he was honored with All-MAC awards, finishing the season with 8 points.
In the spring/summer of 2016 Lopez was a key member to the Indy Eleven's NPSL team as he helped guide them to the Midwest Region Semi-Finals.
