Dooney, a NCAA Div 2 standout this fall, lead Midwestern State University with 14 goals and 2 assists. He spent his first 3 seasons collegiately at the University of Buffalo. Dooney has the attributes and abilities to play as a prototypical #9. His back to goal play is very strong and he has a natural knack for scoring in and around the 18 yard box.
Dooney spent the 2016 & 2017 seasons with Grand Rapids FC (NPSL), where he was a mainstay in their team attack. In 2016 he was an integral member in their conference champinoshp run.
